Week 10 of 12
Relationships, Repair & Forgiveness
Mending what can be mended — safely.
Participants learn repair conversations and explore forgiveness as a personal process that never requires reconciling with unsafe people.
Learning objectives
- Describe the steps of a genuine repair attempt.
- Distinguish forgiveness, trust and reconciliation.
- Affirm that forgiveness never requires returning to an unsafe relationship.
- Plan one appropriate repair action.
Teaching notes
- Never pressure anyone to forgive on a timeline or to reconcile.
- Unsent letters can process feelings without contact.
- Repair is about our part; we cannot control whether others accept.
